We found a lot of breeders hard to contact when we started looking for a new pup, but Breakfield Berners (Brandi) was accessible, responsive and easy to work with. They interacted with us to make sure we had proper facilities, means to care for a pup, and that we fully understood what caring for a Bernese Mountain Dog meant, and it’s clear they care about their dogs, the breed, and who they place their pups with. We will update our post after we get our pup in late May, but we highly recommend Breakfield Berners!

I have wanted a Bernese Mountain Dog for years. It felt like it was meant to be when I stumbled upon Breakfield Berners the week their first litter was born. I am so happy to have a puppy that is a part of the beginning of their journey as a Berner breeder. They have so much love for the breed, their personal Berners, and especially the puppies they get to bring into the lives of families like mine.
Breakfield Berners took the time to get to know my family, and make sure that we were a good fit for the breed. They educated us, and were always quick to respond to questions. They took pictures of the puppies as they were growing, talked with us about each puppy's personality, and made us feel a part of their puppy family.
We have had our puppy at home with us for 4 days, and couldn't be happier. He has a wonderful personality, and already nearly potty-trained (Thank you!!).
We wish Breakfield Berners all of the success in the world at continuing to make this beautiful breed available!

About 10 days ago we received our pup, Chico, from Elsa's first litter. Our experience with Swiss Berner Bears was so flawless and easy. Brandi was always available for communication and answered all my questions. She would send me pictures and videos of the pups and helped me make the best decision when it came to deciding which pup to add to our family. Her family loves these pups so much. The pups are well socialized as they live in a home with Brandi's family, not a kennel. They also live with their doggy family which helps socialize them. I would without a doubt get a another dog from Swiss Berner Bears.
